Thank you for trying out Drunken Clock Screensaver, the analog
clock which randomly and smoothly moves across the screen.

This screensaver is shareware. Please see the ORDER.TXT file for the benefits registering the program and details of how do do this.


Program Requirements
--------------------

- Windows 95/98/Me/2000
- DirectX 6 or later
- 2 Mb of free hard drive space

Installation
------------

To install Drunken Clock Screensaver, simply run 'drunk290.exe' -
this will launch the installer. The install process is simple
and you will have a chance to change the install directory.
When the copying of necessary files has been completed, the
Windows Display Properties dialog box will open, in which you can adjust the setup settings for the screensaver. Press the
OK button to close the dialog box and make Drunken Clock your
default screensaver. After Setup is completed you will be able to access the application settings from the Start menu under Programs/Drunken Clock.

Removing Drunken Clock Screensaver is just as easy - you can
run the Uninstall process from the same menu - go to Start menu,
then Programs, Drunken Clock and select Uninstall screensaver.


Program Description
-------------------

Drunken Clock starts-up with an Icicle-faced moving clock that
"ticks" like a Grandfather Clock as it moves about your screen.
The ever-moving clock face appears distorted as if you were
viewing it while under water. It initially starts-up with the
translucent clock face superimposed on a beautiful winter forest
snow scene. The program allows for background changes as well
as other appearance and behavior options including support for
skins. You can write your own text message which will run as
a ticker. A synchronization function will set your PC clock to
atomic time via the Internet.


Skin developing
---------------

You can develop more skins for this screensaver.
The structure of each skin is:

 - \skinX\	- a folder (X is a number from 0 to 99) which
		  contains the folowing files:
     0.bmp	- center of clock
     1.bmp	\
      ...	 | - numbers on clock-face
     11.bmp	 |
     12.bmp	/
     h.bmp	\
     m.bmp	 | - hands of clock
     s.bmp	/
     bg.bmp (.jpg)	- background
     logo.bmp (.jpg)	- logo for preview
     settings.ini	- settings for the skin
