I guess in my tirade about the Aria card, my basic point got lost
in the noise.

Given that the samples that come with the Aria are pretty bad, I have
some interest in creating a new bank file.

Given the architecture of the card, is it possible to improve the
quality of the samples and thus the overall sound quality of MIDI
music?

Or, would pursuing a better wavesample bank file be just a waste
of time?

Has anyone bought the SDK and had any good experiences with creating
bank files? I've done quite a bit of work in this area using
Ensoniq EPS samplers and Macintoshes. How the tools in the SDK?
Can anyone compare them to something like Alchemy on the Mac?

Thanks.
