I have successfully done this with Mortal Kombat. I followed the steps
outlined in the FAQ without any problems.

I have been completely unable to get Mortal Kombat to work in soundblaster
mode, so I only get general midi.

I can get general midi, but I have never been able to get sound blaster
emulation for it. I have tried with two different revisions of the Diamond
Sonic Sound, as well as with SB199 and SB201.

My company is a Windows 95 beta site, and we have not been able to get any
Aria drivers for it. We're stuck with sound blaster emulation mode. And
we had to revert to the old revision of the Diamond Sonic Sound because we
had no way to load soundcfg.sys under NT, which is what we have had to use
for development.
