I wanted to post some updates to my recent experiences with the card. First,
I had been plagued with problems in windows. The sound would work fine but
become corrupted when more than one sound played at once. For example,
Rock Rap and Roll worked very poorly. Microsoft Arcade worked poorly as well.
I solved this problem by running this card in sound blaster emulation mode in
windows. These problems have now all gone away. However I feel this solution
is unsatisfactory as I lose the benefits of this card when using soundblaster
emulation.

I have also had problems on some dos programs. The Wing Commander III demo
skips sound every 5 seconds (playing off the hard drive). The Killing Moon
demo is very scratchy. The STTNG A Final Unity demo cdrom is also very
scratchy.

Has anyone had similar problems?

Ethan
