Well, I do believe the idea was that SB201 would come close to 100% SB
compatible, however, as it is only a beta version a small bug doesn't come
as a big surprise. But, your problem is no proof for a bug! First of all
it might be the game itself causing the trouble. I have seen many bug
reports concerning "Under a killing moon" ranging from incompatible Cirrus
chips to cracking sounds on many different soundcards and computer systems.
And furthermore if this is the only game in the world incompatible with Aria
it is not worth a bugreport to Sierra. So I would ask all people on the
mailing list with a first generation Aria soundcard and a copy of "Under
a killing moon" to reply to the list letting us know if success or failure
was their meet. And furthermore I would ask EVERYONE on the list to send in
any bugreport concerning sb201 they have. I'm especially interested if
"Under a killing moon" works properly with SB201.COM.

If no further bugreports are mailed to the list I'll assume SB199 can
be removed from the Aria Internet Department.

FYI, there are now over 50 subscribers to this list and still growing!

FYI, hopefully I'll find some time this weekend to write some instructions
for the use of the DSP programs. You really should be able to figure this
out for yourself with respect to PLAYMIDI, just execute it without a MIDI
file and it will explain what the options are including the use of QSOUND
and REVERB. If your version of PLAYMIDI doesn't support these options
download the version stored on the Aria Internet Department.
