I get crackly sound almost all the time from my aria 16. Sometimes it goes
away. I am using a cirrus vlb card, and I am told that there is an
incompatibility, but I downloaded an updated bios for the card and it makes
no difference. This crackly sound occurs in the Mortal Kombat II demo,
the Wing Commander III demo, the Dark Forces demo, and many other programs.
It does not seem to happen on older software. Duke Nukem II is fine.
Midi is fine, it is always the digital sound that is crackly. Has anyone
else experienced this? I am running sb201, by the way.

Thanks,

Ethan
