I believe I remember reading about an incompatability between the
ARIA and the Cirrus Logic video card. I don't quite understand the problem,
though, and I would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me in a
more precise form what this problem is, like BIOS version of the bad CL card
or any other pertinent information. I am concerned about this because I
have recently purchased a Promethius ARIA 16 and I will be adding it to a
system with a Cirrus Logic 5426 VLB 1meg video card this weekend. If it is
at all pertinent to the question, the computer is an AMD 486DX2/66. Again,
thank you to anyone who might be able to clear this up for me.
A side note here, I know I watched this list for a little while
before deciding to buy the ARIA, so I will say that I bought my 16 for
$79.99 at Babbage's in Richmond, VA, and they also had the 16se for $119.99.
As far as I can tell, these are their normal prices for the cards.

Thank you,
        Chris Box
