           --------Scheduler 1.0-----------

Scheduler is a small, User-RPL application set which can store
your weekly schedule (classes are a perfect example) and then give
you an up-to-the-minute readout of your next event at the push of a
button. An example:

I push the button and I get:

    Your next class is
    Math 54 Lecture at 3:00pm
    You have 3 hours and
    45 minutes left

Additionally, Scheduler can optionally, at the time you check that
next event, set an alarm for a designated number of minutes before
the event, which will turn on the calculator, beep, and readout the
title of the upcoming event.

DIRECTIONS:

To setup a new schedule, simply press the ??? button in the
Scheduler directory. It will ask you how many classes you have
each day. If you have no classes, simply enter 0. This will
create a file called "DATA". Ignore it.

To check your next event, press the ??? button and information
will be disseminated to you in the following format: The name of
the next event, followed by either the day on which it will occur,
or, if the same day, the time at which it will occur and the time
remaining. If the alarm feature is enabled, it will also notify
you that an alarm has been set.

The current alarm mode is reflected in the menu to the right of ???
"AOFF" means the alarm is currently disabled (the default mode).
"ALON" means the alarm is enabled. To toggle modes, simply press
the menu button, and the mode will switch. When turning on alarm
mode, Scheduler will prompt you for the number of minutes warning
you would like. (The alarm will go off that many minutes BEFORE
	the event)

SHAREWARE Thingy:

Hi, my name's David Bushong. I'm a Sophomore EECS major at UC Berkeley,
struggling my way through school. I did not pay attention to a lot of
CS lectures in order to get this program perfected (ironically, so I'd
know when my CS lectures were) In short, I'd really appreciate, **if you
used this program** if you would please send $5 (or less, or more, depend-
ing on its usefullness to you) to the following address:

		David P. Bushong
		P.O. Box 676
		Patton, CA 92369-0676

Once you have registered, you will receive full technical support, updates,
all my software forever, free (it's really a good deal). If you have any
	questions, my e-mail is:

		dbushong@cory.eecs.berkeley.edu

and my web page (still in progress):
